CABF's 2025 Cross Canada Conference
October 26-29, Vancouver, BC
This year, the lectionary is based on the gospel of Luke, a gospel that articulates God’s compassion and care for those on the fringes of power—women, the poor, the stranger, religious and ethnic minorities. In an age of rising hostility towards the “other” and disregard for the poor, how important it is to remember the way Christ drew near to all people!
As we, friends and members of the CABF, draw near to each other, may we reorient ourselves to Divine Love, strengthening our love and commitment to soul liberty, to one another, to all God’s children, and to God’s good earth.
Venue: Grandview Church 1803 E. 1st Ave, Vancouver
As you make your initial plans, we encourage you to arrive in time to join us for the Sunday Gathering and meal at 4:00 pm on Sun Oct 26. The Conference will conclude after lunch together on Wed, Oct 29.
Costs:
The conference fee has been kept low, knowing that participants will incur costs for accommodations, meals, transportation and ‘touristy’ outings. Funding from the CABF will cover most program costs, such as speakers, snacks, and meeting venue.
$60 Entire Conference
$25 Daily fee
Free, Online sessions (if available)
For those travelling to Vancouver we estimate travel, accommodations and meals around $2,000-$2,500 per person. Accommodations are less expensive if you share a hotel room, of course!
